Enroll The American Computer Science League (ACSL) 2001-2022 organizes computer programming and computer science contest for K-12 students. The academic program is broken down into four different contests which test the students on all the fundamental concepts in computer science. It covers a wide range of topics from number systems to Boolean Algebra. Challenges vary from level to level and age group. As you advance in the course, challenges increase. At the end of the year, the top students are invited to compete in an online Finals competition, contests are administered online. Team advisors facilitate students' access to the online platform; the platform corrects the submissions and reports the scores to ASCL. Each contest consists of an online 30-minute, 5-question non-programming test, focused on a single category of content. A different category will be tested on each contest. The Elementary Division is open to students from grades 3-6. It consists of non-programming problems. Four categories, one for each contest, will be tested.
