Limits and Continuity- Students will explore the concept of limits, the foundation of calculus. They will learn to evaluate limits analytically and understand the concept of continuity in functions.

Differentiation- The course covers the rules and techniques of differentiation. Students will learn to find the derivatives of various functions, including polynomial, trigonometric, exponential, and logarithmic functions.

The Fundamental Theorem of Calculus- This theorem connects differentiation and integration, demonstrating how they are inverse processes . Students will use this theorem to solve problems involving both derivatives and integrals.

By the end of AP Calculus AB, students should be proficient in the core concepts of calculus and prepared for the AP Calculus AB exam. Successful completion of the course can lead to college credit and advanced placement in calculus courses at the university level.
