AP Physics 1 and 2 - Algebra-Based

AP Physics 1 is an algebra-based course that covers fundamental principles of mechanics and waves. It focuses on conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills using algebra and trigonometry, without requiring calculus.

AP Physics 2 builds on the concepts learned in AP Physics 1 and covers additional topics in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and modern physics. This course continues to use algebra and trigonometry to explore more advanced physics principles.

By the end of AP Physics 1, students will have a solid grasp of basic physics principles and be prepared for AP Physics 2 or further studies in physics and engineering.

By the end of AP Physics 2, students will have a comprehensive understanding of advanced physics topics and be well-prepared for college-level physics courses. Success in AP Physics 2 can lead to college credit and advanced placement in physics programs.
